A belgian dark quad on lees at 10.5abv from Quebec Canada
pour:
HUGE tan head black with chestnut highlights.
Aroma:
Malty with ripe fruit bit of earthy hops
Taste:
belgian yeast with a fermented frutieness with a hint of earthy hops.
mouthfeel:
smooooth but warm on the way down
Thoughts:
really tasty but packs one hell of a punch i'd likely be only able to do 2 before i'd be done. 4.9/5
edit well i can say this. i personally cannot drink unibroue beer i end up having allergic reactions. i will say the beer is terrific and worthy of all praise its just i personally am allergic to the yeast. i'v had this with maudit (sp) so its not an isolated incident.
